Autobiography

T.E.Pshenina works as an assistant professor of Chair of Foreign Philology and Theory of Translation, is candidate of philological sciences, author of 35 publications. 2 lines of research: • cognitive linguistics, comparison of English, Latin, Russian languages; • teaching techniques of Russian as a Foreign Language (RFL) In first line of research, methods of cognitive linguistics were used to describe the language personality of Gaius Valerius Catullus, teaching materials in Latin language and Roman culture were prepared and implemented for law students (copyright certificate # 15599 2021/02/03). Teaching materials in Latin language and Roman culture were implemented for students of “Foreign Philology” and “Translation Studies” and were prepared for publication. In second line of research, teaching materials in RFL for “Flagship” program (ACCELS) were prepared, implemented and released on “Canvas” educational platform, in collaboration with other members of “Flagship” teaching team.
